Enjoying The Outdoors On “Black Friday”

Thanksgiving weekend was a mix of sun, fog and soggy weather in the Willamette valley. That didn’t stop many, myself included, from enjoying the crisp November colors and a little exercise. Here are a few photos from a walk on Thanksgiving and on Friday at the parks and neighborhoods of Salem, OR.

A blue sky, field and trees are reflected into a body of standing water.

Backlit by the sun, a drying leaf is still attached to the tree but is caught on another branch creating a hole in the leaf.

A flooded trail is shaded around the edges by overgrown bushes. Pine trees are reflected in the standing water.
