Cherry Blossom Season

This is the time of year when I get distracted driving because flowers are blooming on half the trees lining the city blocks. Pink fluff blowing in the breeze, slightly shimmering in the moonlight; cherry blossoms are a highlight of spring for me. Whether they are at the National Mall decorating the Tidal Basin, at the Oregon State Capitol, or in a backyard, cherry blossoms are always a sight to see. Plum trees, Magnolias, and Dogwoods are always trying to compete.

Below are some photos of the cherry trees blooming at Bush Park, in Salem, Oregon, as well as other spring flowers.
