Just miles before the Santiam wilderness, in an area known for it’s waterfalls, rivers, lakes and forests, sits a recreation area with three beautiful falls. The hike is moderate. There is a maze of trails with two staircases one needs to climb to see both large falls.
I hiked the area at peak greeness. It also helped we had a great deal of rain this spring. The falls were full. The trees and plants seemed incredibly lush and happier than they had been in years. Below are a few of my photos from the hike.
